Lara Logan

Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She was a CBS News journalist from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually wrong and politcally biased story concerning the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the biggest mistake I've made on my 10-year-old watch." In 2019, she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media firm. 4] In January of 2020 she joined Fox Nation (a subscription streaming service that is operated by Fox News). She claimed that she was "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan worked as an assistant news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four years, she started freelance journalism. Reporter, editor and producer assignments for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all given to her. CNN was her home, where she covered events like 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the war between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
